Logo design

A2BMedia specialises in the design of bespoke logos for all industries. Create the brand that speaks to your target consumer.

Our Logo Design Process

Step 1:

Design Brief – We ask the right questions to get a better understanding of your business, its alignment, and your desired brand personality.

  • How would you describe your business?
  • Can you provide us with some existing logos in the marketplace that resonate with you?
  • Who are your top 3 competitors?
  • What colours best suit your brand and why?
  • Who is your target audience?
  • What are your overall business goals?
  • What are your most successful marketing channels?
  • How would you like your brand to be perceived?
  • What are your brand values and mission?
  • Would you describe yourself as decisive or indecisive?

Step 2:

Research – In this step we conduct the necessary research that helps us get to grips with your business.

This step requires us to find out more about the industry your client is in. Consider the historical perspective of your client and their industry, and look at emerging trends in the marketplace. This is also a good time to do your visual research, which may involve reviewing the logo designs of your competitors and the various references you send.

We analyze everything we find: What makes one logo good, and others not so good? If we see a definite trend in logo designs within your industry, we then decide whether going with the trend or innovating on the trend is beneficial to your business. Following an industry design trend could potentially improve the association of a business to that industry. Additionally, if a reference that you send is particularly effective, we identify the specific elements that we could take and apply to your logo to mirror that effectiveness.

Step 3:

Design Concepts – In this step, we take all that we’ve learned and we create three design concepts. We present these ideas in black and white to ensure that form is the main point of focus.

This is the fun part. We let our ideas run from as we put some pen to paper. This is our time to develop an often elusive good blend of great graphics that also convey the right message for your business. In this step, we are trying to encapsulate the diverse and complex nature of your business into a small and simple design, suitable for use in a multitude of different circumstances (business cards, marketing material, website design, etc.). For each logo design concept we create, we ask ourselves these key questions:

  • Will this logo design work for my client and their preferences?
  • Will this logo resonate with the client’s customers?
  • How does this logo fare against the competition?

Step 4:

Feedback and Review – In this step we present you with ideas to get your initial feedback. Constructive criticism is key here, so don’t hold back! It’s our job to take your opinions on board. When reviewing these concepts, think back to the questions you were first asked in step 1 of our logo design process. If you think anything can be improved on, let it be known. We also encourage you to find positives in each design you are presented with. We then use this information to hone in on a final design. At this stage of the process, we will also discuss potential colours that can be used to represent your brand.

Step 5:

Final design presentation – Finally, we present you with your finished logo. If there are any minor tweaks that need to be made, we’ll be accommodating of this. We typically do this over a call where we can take you through specifical logo elements
